Pioneering Bee Products Since 1977
CC Pollen Co was established in 1978 by Royden Brown, who was a pioneer in the Natural Foods industry. He realized the unappreciated greatness of the Beehive, its workings and products. For Honeybee Pollen he coined the phrase “The Worlds Only Perfect Food” which is still used today in describing the nutritive value of Bee Pollen. That interest led to the recognition of Propolis, Royal Jelly, Honeys, Beeswax and Bee Venom as extremely valuable aids for wellness and good health.
Royden Brown went on to be one of the most influential people associated with the enactment, by U.S. Congress, of the DSHEA (Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994) regulations which transformed the whole industry. He worked closely with the late Senator Orrin Hatch and Senator Tom Harkin who were the sponsors of the bill. They both became users of the Beehive products as a result.
The support and connection with IPRG is due to James Fearnley’s insight into Propolis and what Propolis can bring to humanity. With James Fearnley and associates he has been a great influence on teaching CC Pollen Co how to process Propolis for human use and the equipment needed for the processing as well as the research. James’ vision with IPRG and the important mission of IPRG are something CC Pollen feels has basically unlimited potential and needs to be expressed and CC Pollen Co wants to participate in IPRG’s mission.
